Wolf Kahn 100

The Wolf Kahn Foundation is pleased to announce the Wolf Kahn 100 initiative, a nationwide celebration of the centenary of the artist’s birth. Throughout 2027, museums across the country will show their Wolf Kahn paintings and works on paper in special exhibitions, collection rotations, and by appointment in study centers.

The presentations will highlight Kahn’s fluid draftsmanship, his sophisticated and exuberant exploration of color and light, and the contrapuntal dialogue between his preferred mediums of oil paintings and pastel drawings. Related public programs will include studio workshops, artist talks, scholar lectures, and roundtable discussions exploring Wolf Kahn’s legacy.

To date, fifty-one museums are participating in Wolf Kahn 100. A list of participants and an interactive map of their locations will be announced in fall 2026.
